Fun Radio Ibiza Experience in Paris

After Electric love in Salzburg and Creamfield in the United Kingdom, Martin Garrix was back for a third “post-COVID” show in Europe, last night in Paris.

At this time of year, Garrixers used to travel to Amsterdam where Martin Garrix usually gives an insane solo show during ADE. But this year again, the festivities were restricted in the Netherlands because of the Covid, so he did not plan anything. But we had some consolation when French Fun Radio announced that they booked him for their fifth "Fun Radio Ibiza Experience" festival on October 21, 2021.

Fans from all over Europe merged in Paris to attend the festival. At around 10:00 p.m., Martin Garrix arrived backstage to meet some lucky fans who won contests. After Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix gave a euphoric performance in front of a crazy audience, for his first show in Paris since Lollapalooza 2019.

Martin Garrix opened the set with his current ID, "Wide Awake" (which should be out by the end of this year) starring John Martin, and enchained his success such like We are the people, Tremor, Animals and more. After the Higher Ground / Forbidden Voices finale, our favorite producer returned to the stage for an In the Name of Love encore. Finally when most of the people left the AccorArena, Martin took the time to take selfies near the stage.

About the layout and stage, it was a rare show without Martin's big cross in the background, the show was produced by the Fun Radio and Hi Ibiza crews so it was different than usual. Next step for Martin Garrix, the USA, where he will give several shows during the next few weeks.

Martin Garrix has been booked in many French festivals for the 2020 season, including Cabaret Vert and Electroland. All have been canceled but we can except that he will be back in France in 2022. Garorock, who also booked him for 2020, will annouce tonight Martin Garrix will headline their festival during the first weekend of July 2022, what an amazing news !
